CORELLA BALLET CASTILLA Y LEÓN

In April 2008, Corella founded the first classical ballet company in Spain in 20 years.( Corella Ballet Castilla y León).
The only Stirng Sextet composed by Tchaikovsky is a music with a lot of melodies and enchanting rhythms and is inspired by the beautiful city of Florence. This music is an impulse of energy and that has inspired Ángel Corella’s first choreography for the Corella Ballet. It has foru movements that shows the whole Florentine splendour as a Ballet.

ÁNGEL CORELLA

Ángel Corella was born in Madrid on November 8, 1975. He grew also in Madrid. Corella trained with Karemia Moreno and Víctor Ullate and began winning dance awards at a young age, including the First Prize in the National Ballet Competition of Spain in 1991 and three years later, the Grand Prix and Gold Medal at the Concours International de Danse de Paris. When a russian ballerina Natalia Makarova, saw the young Corella in competition, she contacted the artistic director of American Ballet Theatre and recommended that he be auditioned for the company. CENTER STAGE

Center Stage is a great dance film!

In the film you can see the evolution and education of some students that go at The American Ballet Academy in New York. Their lives aren't what they expect, each dancer have their own problems. They have a dream and achieving it isn't easy, the world of the dance is very complicate and hard, so the students work for enter in the American Ballet Company. Along the way, they learn that love can be found in unlikely places, and dancing should be a passion, not a duty.
I think Center Stage is a film that you can see a little bit the world of the Ballet.

I update the trailer of the film.
